A really koribelle world is created and I am loving this sci-fi erotica! The whole thing was very annoying and unbelievable.
I was instantly engaged with the story, and for me if that doesn't happen immediately, I can't finish reading the book; and along with this story and characters that it made it so it was so very hard to set down. But it had several of my favourite themes: I didn't like the beginning of the book.

Like a childish game of chicken, she refused to look away first and somehow knew he felt the same way. From the first time he saw Laney, he knew she was meant to be his permanent mate.
It felt like the story cut off just a bit too soon. I absolutely loved seeing a strong female character with a military background. Did kids play chicken on his world?
Equally strong and smart men. This was my first book in the series and it will not be my last, A strong woman who puts fear in the heats and minds of her enemies not only learns to trust but teaches a strong and overbearing worrior that there is strength in trusting and loving.
